Akyga AK-EC-07 single-phase charger is used to charge electric vehicles equipped with IEC 62196-2 Type 2 charging socket, commonly known as Mennekes. This type has been officially approved by the European Union as the charging standard. Therefore, the vast majority of electric cars from the European distribution have this type of socket.

The Schuko CEE 7/7 plug gives you independence in the face of the still underdeveloped charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. You can recharge your car at home without restrictions using the electrical socket in your garage. In addition, a long 5 m cable will provide convenient charging of your vehicle, allowing you to easily reach the contact.

The charger is equipped with a practical ControlBox. It indicates the operating status of the device and displays current charging parameters on the LCD screen, such as: charging current and power, mains voltage, total energy consumed by the device, charger temperature and charging time. In addition, the product allows you to select the current intensity from the values: 8 A, 10 A, 12 A and 16 A, which is done with the buttons. At the same time, the charger guarantees a stable connection during charging, with a power output of up to 3.8 kW, thanks to the high quality wires.

In addition, the charger has been designed to withstand the harsh conditions specified by the IP54 protection class. The materials used are extremely durable and robust. Therefore, it is not terribly dirty or splashed. In addition, the plug is protected by a plug that protects the contacts from flooding or accidental damage.

The protection is complemented by such protections as OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, SCP. They create the necessary protection of both the power supply and the charged device. They protect, among other things, against too high a current and voltage, as well as against overheating of the charger itself and the vehicle battery.
